14 must try gin recipes for world gin day.

Happy World Gin Day 2016! The best day of the year, am I right? Well apart from world sushi day, cupcake day and all those other delicious excuses to eat what you fancy. To celebrate this momentous occasion, I've put together some awesome gin cocktail recipes (from my archive and other fantastic food bloggers) that you need to try!

1) Earl Grey Gin and Tonic
Mixing aromatic Earl Grey tea with the botanicals of gin to create a cup of tea with a kick.

2) Slow Gin Pink Lady
This Pink Lady is probably not one of your five a day. A beautiful cocktail with a medley of sloe gin, gin and lemon juice.

3) Spring Gin Lemonade
A super refreshing mix of lemon, lime, honey and oh wait... gin! This looks delicious.

With apple juice, ginger beer and cinnamon, this spiced gin cocktail is perfect for any time of year.

A zesty combination of limoncello and cooling lemon juice with a hint of fresh thyme.

Raspberry liqueur, gin and and ginger ale and mixed to make this one - which is finished with frozen berries.

A sharp cocktail of blood oranges, grapefruit and fresh thyme over gin.

A retro sweet favourite turned cocktail. This Burleigh's gin is blended with violet liqueur and Parma Violets sweets.

Mixing rose water and cucumber for a cooling gin cocktail.

A Christmas inspired cocktail that would be perfect any time of year - why wait for Santa to enjoy this one?

Vibrant kiwis are the star of the show in this short gin cocktail.

Game, set, match... gin! Sip this strawberry and cranberry gin cocktail while watching Wimbledon this year.

One of my own - an English country garden inspired mix of apple juice, rosemary. And oh wait, gin.

Simple done well. Try cucumber with your favourite gin and you won't look back.

What gin cocktails will you be making this World Gin Day? I'd love to hear your favourites!
