healthy gluten free brownies with comvita manuka honey.

A guilt free brownie? Could it be true? Enriched with Manuka honey, coconut oil and coconut flour, these refined sugar free and gluten free brownies are anything but boring. Fudgey, moist and deliciously chocolately, this brownie recipe is rather nice without being too naughty. Created by and featuring Comvita Manuka Honey, this recipe means you can rustle up a warm batch of gluten free, naturally sweetened brownies in around thirty minutes. Customise as you wish with your favourite toppings (almonds for me!) to create the ultimate brownie recipe. Yum!

In this recipe it of course uses the honey itself to create a sticky, gooey, fudgy and incredibly sweet brownie.

Shopping list. 
Makes 16 brownies
♥ ½ cup or 50g of coconut flour
♥ ½ cup cocoa powder
♥ ½ cup coconut oil (Or melted butter if preferred)
♥ 3 eggs (Best if left at room temperature)
♥ ½ cup Comvita® Manuka Honey UMF® 5+ (Use ¾ cup for a sweeter taste)
♥ A dash of vanilla extract
♥ Add crushed nuts if you wish - I topped with whole almonds!

Preheat the oven to 150C 

Step one. Grease a silicone baking dish, around one inch deep.

Step two. Mix together all of the ingredients thoroughly.

Step three. Pour into the tray and bake for 30 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean inserted into the centre.

Step four. Once baked, leave to cool for 30 minutes - if you can resist!

These brownies last really well, kept in the fridge in a container…unless of course you can’t help yourself! They're only... 90% guilt free.
