roasted lemon & herb salmon linguine with the saucy fish co. + recipe video.

Sometimes the simplest of recipes are the tastiest, aren’t they? No fuss, fresh flavours and a variety of colours and textures are what I look for in a midweek meal. Comfort and convenience is key, but I like to keep it light and fresh too. (However much I love pasta). That’s where The Saucy Fish Co. offerings come in. They’re perfect for adding to healthy veg or stirring through a recipe for a delish balanced dish.

new kitchen additions.

I can't believe I've been in my house now almost a year. The kitchen was definitely the selling point for me (of course) and I was lucky enough that the decor already totally suited my taste. In recent months I've widened my kitchen accessory collection... rather a lot. With a mix of vintage finds, charity shop hauls and lovely press samples I've been able to add a few personal touches to my favourite place. Maybe this year will be the one I finally keep that herb garden alive...

chorizo and prawn paella: slimmer's secret supercook challenge with the tefal actify.

All your fave dishes, just that little bit healthier. Could it be possible? From curries to cakes and stir fry to fried chicken, the possibilities are endless. And I know what you're thinking, I'm up for a competition here so of course I'm going to say the Tefal Actifry is awesome. Actually, having had mine since the start of 2016, it's probably one of the top gadgets used in my kitchen. Never packed away, my Actifry sits pride of place next to my mixer ready to conjure up tasty sausages, sweet roast vegetables and those famous chips

So as part of the new Slimmer's Secret Supercook I got my thinking cap on to create this Chorizo and Prawn Paella. Scroll down for the video and recipe below. If you loved it as much as I enjoyed created it - please head over to Tefal and vote for my recipe. You will also be put into a draw to win a luxury spa getaway for two - so it's a win win really!

monkfish wrapped in parma ham with a black olive and tomato risotto.

A wholesome but light fish dish, perfect for the beginnings of Autumn. As part of my second recipe featuring Parma ham, I've put together a seafood and prosciutto ensemble, on a bed of black olive and tomato risotto. My first recipe, Parma ham, ricotta and basil bruschetta, showcased a delicate starter or canapĂ© idea which would be perfect for party guests or a weekend lunch.

This risotto recipe is particularly great for a dinner party main, where you can make ahead the monkfish wrapped in prosciutto di Parma, allowing the Mediterranean inspired risotto to bubble away on the stove.

pizza spinaci: back by popular demand.

Back by popular demand; the Pizza Spinaci from Dr. Oetker. And I think I just found out why. With a crisp base, flavoursome herbs, earthy spinach and generous slatherings of mozzarella and Edam cheese, I'm not sure convenience could get much tastier. Super easy to just pop in the freezer for those lazy days (and rather good value too), the spinach and cheese pizza from the Ristorante range is just the simpliest of no-hassle treats. That's right - #SpinaciIsBack!
