Crazy about California rolls? Got a lot of love for gyoza? A fan of futomaki? Whether you're already a seasoned Japanese food fanatic or are only just dipping your maki into the soy sauce, Sushimania is the perfect way to try a whole host of Japanese cuisine at a real steal. For only £16.80 per person, with a minimum of diners, you can delve into six dishes each. (Or share, if you want). And guess what, you can reorder.

In this instance we went for some Japanese favourites; Edamame, Gyoza, Salmon Sashimi, Salmon and Avocado Maki, Prawn Katsu Futomaki, Temaki Handrolls, Salmon Teriyaki and Beef Yakitori Skewers, as well as a few other dishes to make it up to 12. 

You simply take pen to paper to fill in your order form, which is then collected by one of the friendly servers. You don't have to order six dishes each, that's totally up to you. Anything you don't eat you will have to pay for too, so it's worth being a little conservative. The best part is it's all cooked to order, which is definitely a bonus for an all you can eat. You have a 1 hr 45 mins time limit per table, which with the fast service was plenty time to do two rounds of orders.

You don't have to like sushi or raw fish either, there are plenty of noodles, skewers and hot dishes to choose from the Japanese menu. I particularly loved the flavoursome beef skewers, the melt-in-the-mouth sashimi and crispy prawn tempura. There are lots of vegan, veggie and gluten free options too, so something for everyone!

In all I definitely recommend Sushimania, whether for a date night, catch up with friends or large group. Japanese is one of my favourite cuisines, although it can be quite expensive and soon adds up when you want to try all the little plates. So for me this is perfect to indulge without worrying too much about the cost. On the other hand, it would be great for a total beginner to try out the dishes and see what they like best.
