ethan's teppanyaki, sushi and japanese steak house, lincoln.

Ethans Lincoln sushi

Found along the A46, around five miles from Lincoln, Ethan's is a newly opened Japanese steakhouse featuring everything from sushi bites to teppanyaki showcases. In a rather unusual location, ran by the popular Damon's Motel and American style restaurant, Ethan's is proud to serve up authentic (and a few more contemporary) dishes from a host of skilled chefs.

Stoke Rochford Hall Afternoon Tea Review
Stoke Rochford Hall Desserts

Found in the Lincolnshire countryside, Stoke Rochford Hall instantly strikes you with its regal structure and inviting doorway. Having stayed and dined at Stoke Rochford Hall, near Grantham, earlier this year, I was eager to see what their afternoon tea menu had to offer.

The once bouncing lambs from my visit in March were now happy sheep lining the long, winding pathway. Plush greenery surrounds the hall itself, as well as a well kept garden and nearby golf course. Inside you'll find leather chairs, welcoming fireplaces, colourful Beauty and the Beast style library and airy conservatory. If that doesn't tick wedding venue boxes, I don't know what does.

Stoke Rochford Hall is a beautiful Victorian county mansion found in the south of Lincolnshire. With a great reputation for its breathtaking surroundings, luxury hospitality and nearby golf course, it was the perfect location to take my golf mad boyfriend for a surprise birthday break away. Food for me and golfing tuition with the club professional for him - perfect!

foodie penpals.

after seeing foodie penpals on twitter i just knew i'd love to get involved. each month, you receive a penpal to create a foodie box for and someone who makes up a box for you. with a £10 limit, it was really fun to put a surprise box together based on what you knew about them over twitter and emails - throwing in something local for them to try too. this month, i got kim from london to buy for, whilst anne of random things through my letterbox got me :)
