orchard martini mocktail.

Giving up alcohol for Dry January? Missing your favourite wine, the occasional G&T and not to mention those cocktails from back in December? Well, who said mocktails had to be boring anyway? With inspiration from thebar’s non alcoholic mocktail recipes, I’ve put my own spin on their English countryside inspired Orchard Mist to create my very own Orchard Martini. With the original recipe featuring pear and elderflower, I’ve opted for apple juice, elderflower and honey to sweeten up this rather British medley.

Shopping list.
♥ 50ml Schweppes tonic with a twist of lemon
♥ 30ml fresh apple juice
♥ 1
0ml lemon juice

♥ 10ml elderflower cordial
♥ A dash of runny honey
♥ An edible flower (Or false one - just remember not to drink it!)

Step one. Add ice to your martini glass and leave to chill.

Step two. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until cold.

Step three. Remove the ice from your glass and strain in the drink.

Step four. Garnish with a flower.

There you have it! The perfect non alcoholic cocktail that won’t leave you sad about being designated driver. How are you finding Dry January? What are your favourite tipples for spicing up the soft drink life? Keep up the good work - it’s for a fab cause afterall!
