#allwrappedup with ao.

Last week I went down to London for lovely Christmassy evening hosted by ao and Hotpoint. With likeminded lifestyle, homeware and food bloggers, we were fully immersed in the festive spirit and spoilt with fantastic food and gifting ideas. From creating our own edible gifts to gift wrapping tips, we were invited to embrace all things Christmas - complete with a full roast dinner!

To begin we started with with delicious canapés, all of which were made from typical Christmas dinner leftovers. From smoked salmon to charcuterie boards, there were lots of familiar ingredients rustled up into tasty party snacks. I particularly loved the turkey arancini balls - genius!

The evening was finished, like I said, with a tasty Christmas dinner created with Hotpoint appliances. But not before making us work for it!

In the cookery class, hosted at Jamie Oliver's Cookery School, we enjoyed making homemade truffles and indulgent brandy butter. All wrapped up in mason jars and pretty boxes, no less.

I made mine with pistachios, salted cocoa and hazelnuts. I took them to my friend's house the next day (despite the label suggesting otherwise) and they didn't last an hour. Christmas complete - if you ask me! The brandy butter would be delicious on a Christmas pudding or even a topper for mince pies.

It was a fantastic evening that left me embracing all the festive feels. As I type this the Coca Cola advert is on the television so I guess you could say Christmas is officially on the way. Check out the hashtag #AllWrappedUp too for other festive inspo or explore the Jamie Oliver Hotpoint range at ao here.
