I have recently discovered the joy of overnight oats! Yippee! Let's just put it out there, I'm not a morning person. So if there's a quick and healthy breakfast recipe that lets me press that snooze button just one more time then I'm in. What's more, I love my almond, coconut and hazelnut milk so all these easy overnight oats recipe suggestions are dairy free and vegan friendly.
♥ 75g jumbo oats
♥ 125ml coconut pouring milk
♥ 1 tsp cinnamon
♥ Flaked almonds
♥ Maple syrup
♥ Milled linseed topper
♥ A handful of fresh strawberries
Step one. The night before, mix together the oats, coconut pouring milk and cinnamon. Leave in the fridge and await magic.
Step two. Morning! Scatter your toppings of choice on top. Make sure there's some lovely fresh fruit in there! Eat cold or warm up. I actually like mine cold for some reason.
Step three. There isn't one. Oh wait, eat? Now get out of your pyjamas and sort your hair out!
This flavour is perfect for those that love nutty flavours. I've also made a blueberry and coconut flavour, with extra toasted coconut - yum!
