my dream green kitchen.

if you hadn't already guessed it from my love of pistachio ice cream, overuse of green food colouring and recent new retro blender in a gorgeous shade of mint, i am quite partial to the colour green. when i saw that argos were running a colour campaign competition i thought, why not?

i love reading these kind of moodboards on fashion blogs and so when i saw you could create a moodboard for your favourite room i thought... kitchen of course!

the traditional aga city 60

the first piece was this traditional cast iron aga in a fun pastel shade of green and slimmed down design. it would be my absolute dream to own an aga, especially one in such a delicious colour.

farrow & ball paint

i would paint the walls a subtle shade of skylight grey to complement the green theme. i also loved the other light green colours to accent shelves and perhaps a small feature wall. also who doesn't love a pun when picking paint colours?

next blinds

continuing with the green and grey, these gorgeous blinds jumped out at me as country kitchen meets retro design.

cake wall print

from the old english company on notonthehighstreet, this quirky print has the likes of bakewell tart, battenberg and victoria sandwich doodled all over it. naturally, a must have item for a keen baker.

vintage kitchen scales

these cream vintage style kitchen scales from argos would be a lovely item to have on the kitchen side. coming in sturdy steel with an old style dial face, these look like they were passed down by your granny and built to last.

denby teapot

you can't have all this talk of cake without a classic teapot. another british household name, this denby teapot comes in a beautiful regency green. i just saw there are matching teacups and sugar bowls too - that's my wages gone!

orla kiely mug

obviously if you have a teapot, there must be tea. i love all the orla kiely designs and this one has got to be my favourite so far. a gorgeous charcoal grey with off white and sage green detailing.

retro tea towels

i actually already have these tea towels myself and the colour and prints are lovely. coming from next again, these would match the blinds from the same kitchen collection.

charcoal grey dinner set

this lily earthenware dinner set is a 12 piece affair. i love retro minimalist designs but also feminine vintage inspired styles. i'd make my kitchen very mix and match with these delicate dinner plates alongside the likes of the orla kiely mug.

what would your dream kitchen look like? what colour would you choose?

  3. The modern kitchen is regularly designed to be open,so that the cooking is not by any stretch of the imagination separate from the eating. One of the most vital parts of the kitchen is the respectability of its plumbing.Take it from the professional plumbers: remain focused of kitchen plumbing repairs and routine maintenance.Doing as such can just advantage you're plumbing system over the long haul, however disregarding such services may prompt inconvenience.@Laura Smith.
