chocolat chocolat personalised chocolate bars.

Why would you ever want your name in lights when you have have it in chocolate? chocolat chocolat create handmade chocolates in their quaint cambridge shop, which is based in a 19th century building. Luckily for the rest of us they do delivery too. The lovely lot let me have a go at their new create your own custom chocolate bar tool. Of course, isn't everyone a sucker for anything personalised?

You firstly pick from a white, milk, caramel, dark (55%) or dark (70%) bar bases, which a few suggested toppings combinations. For example dark with apricot and amaretti or white with strawberry and meringue. although I appreciated these tantalising suggestions, I was all about the customisation. That's the fun of it really!

I opted for Emily on white chocolate with Earl Grey tea and lavender flowers, Sam on dark (55%) with cinnamon and espresso and a milk chocolate bar with pistachio, cardamom and rose petals. You can pick three toppings or have two with a message, you see. I dare you to order one with a 20 letter name...

My favourite was hands down the pistachio, cardamom and rose petal (are you surprised?) and Sam loved his premium dark chocolate. The white chocolate with lavender I wasn't so sure about, but that was my own fault for choosing what I thought would be a match made in heaven. Crazy combinations aside, there's no doubt that the luxurious chocolate and fantastic quality toppings make for a real treat.

From coconut flakes to cranberries and salted caramel to spekuloos, you really are spoilt for choice. what would you choose?

At £5.95 each or £14.95 for 3, they make for fabulous stocking fillers for those who can be hard to buy for. That's if you dare pick their toppings for them. Find out more and create your own personalised chocolate bar here.

note: i chose 3 complimentary chocolate bars for purposes of review. all opinions are honest and my own.
